informal care
For you
INFORMATION & ADVICE
If you care for someone in your immediate environment, this requires time and attention. It is important to find a good balance between worries, work, family and free time. If you remain vital, you will be able to combine everything better and you will be able to provide care with less stress.
You can share informal concerns, but so do headaches!
EVERY SITUATION IS DIFFERENT
Every informal care situation is different. Caring for someone else often comes 'on your path'. Precisely because you are not prepared for it, you may have to deal with new situations, questions and uncertainties. For example, about how to deal with the clinical picture of the person who needs care or about where you can find the right information.
Maybe you would like to meet other people who are in a similar situation to hear tips from each other and exchange experiences. Or maybe you just need extra help or some relaxation to 'be free from worries for a while'.
ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS
If you have any questions about caring for someone else, you can contact the Expertise Center for Informal Care. An informal care consultant pays attention to your story and thinks along to optimize the situation for you and the person you care for.
