I'm looking for help
Neighborhood help
neighbor network
If you can no longer do things yourself due to old age or a disability, if you do not have a network that can support you and if you do not have the financial resources to hire a paid worker, you can call on a volunteer of Neighborhood Network. Think of:
- Small jobs around the house, such as hanging a painting
- Walking together (with and without wheelchair)
- Shopping
- Drink coffee together
- Help with translating a conversation if Dutch is not your first language
- Transport to and from the doctor or hospital
A small gesture, a big difference
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Neighborhood Network links a volunteer to your request for help. Once a match has been made, the job can take place. If it concerns long-term contact, an introduction can first take place.
Compensation
For jobs that are normally carried out by a professional, you pay a small expense allowance to the volunteer. If you would like to be taken somewhere by car by a volunteer, you pay a fee of € 0.35 per kilometer driven to the volunteer. We are always looking for a volunteer in the area. If this is not possible, we will ask for compensation for the volunteer's travel expenses.

ANWB AUTOMATIC
Do you live in Almere, are you less mobile and dependent on others for transportation? Are you no longer able to cycle or travel by public transport and can you no longer rely on family, friends or neighbors? Do you have a small budget and cannot afford a regular taxi?
"Thank you for your understanding and great help, great job."
